To print your promotional graphics on fabric, we use a process called dye sublimation – where ink is heat-infused into the fabric to create sharp, vivid images that last for years. The full color prints are fade-resistant – even after washing, ironing and steaming. Our fabric printing technology can print resolutions of up to 400 dpi.
The dye sublimation process starts with your image printed (in reverse) onto sublimation transfer paper with specially formulated ink. The paper print is then pressed together with the fabric through our sublimation heat press at around 400 F. When the paper and the fabric run through the heat drum and rollers, the inks sublimate (or transfer) into the fibers of the fabric. The print is instantly ready for quality control and finishing – there is no drying or waiting process involved.
